The tube from the driver's side exhaust manifold to the EGR is leaking where it threads into the manifold. Has anybody had to change this tube before? If you have do you have any tips?

I had to replace mine when I replaced my egr vavle on my 94. Its not to hard really just try not to strip the threads off the manifold if you replace it. for now take a wrench and see if you can snug up the fitting and see if the leak stops.

Will do, I am hoping that will do it.

Ford quoted me a price of $91

Changed the tube out Monday. Got one for $85 and some change. I used my propane torch on the lower nut and removed the EGR and tube as one piece so I could put it in a vise to take the tube off the EGR. The nut sizes for both ends of the tube were 1 and 1/16th inch. It's quiet again
