exhuast manifold

i dont know why, but for some reason there is a bolt in my exhuast manifold missing??? i was told by my exhuast guy, that i should replace the gaset while im at it, btw i have a 98 5.0, anyone experience this?

my 5.0 did the same.I bet yours is the bolt on the passanger side bank forward part of the moter.I had mine come out under warrenty and they changed the gasket and used some high temp locktight type stuff and i have had no problem since.It took the dealer a week to get the bolt.Some special crap i guess.

I had a bolt come loose on my passenger exhaust manifold. It was the first one to the front. It leaks pretty bad, and is really audible during hard acceleration. I'm planning on getting some Torque Monster headers to fix that problem.
