New member here having an inquiry.:help:

2008 explorer eddie bauer edition, rear ac does not turn cold. The front ac is doin just fine from temp and vent selection. However the rear seems to be stucked on warm or ambient air. Rear fan speed control seems to work fine but the temp doesnt change even if you turn the knob in any direction. I tried listening for the dreaded click, after reading some of the threads yesterday, but mine didnt have even when turning the temp select knob in any way.

Symptom 1; warm/ambient air coming out of overhead ports-regardless of any temp selection.( front ac works just perfect)
Symptom 2: no clicks. ( i was thinking of blend door actuator but after reading some of the threads, it seems consistent that i should have some clicks to turn towards that diagnosis.... or i may be wrong)

Could it be the blend door? Or blend door motor? ( for not having clicks) im really not sure and need your expert advice before i start ripping it apart.
It seems like a redundant question for all ya but I tried reading the threads looking for a matching problem but didnt hit any. Thanks in advanced for the help! :help:

We have the same problem.

Help anyone?

WarrenXavier, we should try feeling the pipes going to the back AC, as in the video:

I know it's a Tahoe in the video, but the diagnostic step will still be useful. If both pipes are hot, it's probably plugged expansion valve or orifice tube.
