Explorer 2010 Limited Brake Switch/Sensor

Do brake sensors have any particular pattern of malfunctioning on this model? I just had to replace mine since I couldn't get out of park and my lights weren't activating. Should be all good now but I was just wondering.

In my experience, brake pedal sensors going bad on Explorers and Mountaineers go back to when I owned a 1994 Explorer. I have replaced at least three of them over the years but only once per vehicle. Luckily, they are inexpensive to buy and easy to replace.
