Explorer 2013 Shifter button not working

Today i took my car to wash it
They washed the engine using air blower then they clean it with a tissue
Down they wash it with water
and the rest is as normaly they wash it

After i took it for driving the gear selector when u switch from P to D the button to press to switch is stuck i cant press it so i select it without press it
the problem when i parked my car and i select it to P still stuck and i cant take the car key or even the P light is not ON

What is happened ?

That's weird. Washing the car and engine wouldn't seem to affect the shifter.

First I'd take off the trim around the console to see if something has come loose, or fallen into the mechanism. I'd also check out the linkage between the brake pedal and the shifter.
