Whenever I'm coming to a stop, I can feel the 3-2 downshift (about 25 mph) clunk and the brake pedal that I am depressing pushes/jerks up against my foot for a split second coinciding with the chunky shift. I know the clunking is a problem, but how the heck can the trans affect the braking?
