Ford has made some bad decisions in the past five years. The naming of the Mach E was a terrible marketing move. Thinking that an full size EV pickup can replace an ICE version was another mistake but GM has done the same thing. The biggest mistake though, is thinking that there would be a huge part of the population that would buy into the EV hype when they knew all along the EV shortcomings that existed would prevent this from happening. To be fair, Ford was just one of the many major ICE manufacturers that did the same thing.

I have read reports where some new EV models depreciate 40-50% in the first year.
