Actually, a few weeks back i ordered clear lenses for the front of my X and they wer like 80 bucks or soemthing in that area, but naywyas thewy emailed me back and said that the lenses i ordered where only for the side turn signal lenses(the 91-94 lights or divied into 3 different sections sort of, if anyone was wondering). and they were gonna cost me 85 bucks!! i cnaceled that though, i mean my friend got those euro lights for the back of his 90 blazer and they were only 120 dollars. and they wnat me to pay around 190 dollars for these small simple lenses?? is there somehting im missing? Although they have always been nice about things in their emails so i cant complain there.

I am very unhappy with my 95-98 X-Spec airdam. It came today and is a grey color and very rough. The edges are sharp with chips and pieces sticking out. I took it to the body shop and they said that it needs some work... more than just "light sanding and paint". It also had a few small cracks in it. I was going to send it back but my friend at the body shop said that is how most after market fiberglass parts come and I probably wouldn't get another one in better condition. I think that the quality was extremly poor for the price of the item.

I was going to order that airdam for my 92,but I ordered fiberglass in the past and have always been disapointed in the quality.I think I will go to the junkyard and get a limited front bumper.

You know, i'd just go with the performance prodects one. Other then a few intentations (about the size of a pin head), there were few if any inperfections. In fact it was such a clean install that it came in $100 less then what the body shop origonally quoted. I should have pics of mine installed up in a few weeks.

Hey aldive, did you call them and let them know about the gelcoat finish qualaity? I put one on my '98 awhile back and it was in great shape and fit well. As afar as the instructions for putting it on, there's nothing to it. just 6 bolts, three to a side and goes right on. If you hung up, drop a line. I ran the PIAA Pro 90s and the airdam on mine--trust me they have paid for themselves when I went to Denver in a snowstorm...

Thanks for the offer of help, but, I installed it 3 months ago.

neo... you said yours came in excellent condition? Mine needs glass work. talk about inconsistency.

Especially on their lowering kit, i paid over $200 for it, when I could have got it for under $100 elsewhere w/ the alignment.

How would you have gotten this so cheap. I want it. Where and is it quality??? Thanks...

Uhhhh, I did mine for $20 plus an alignment.

98fordx24....can you give me details on what you used, where you bought it, and how to do it....thanks

I bought the blocks at autozone ($20), did a torsion twist (free) and had it aligned.

I just got my 95-98 airdam on Thursday. It was in perfect condition. I sanded it and painted it Thursday night, put it on Friday morning. I think it looks great. I actually think it looks pretty good with just the stock fog lights. I live in California so having fog lights are just for looks anyway. I may still get the PIAA 90's however.

Post a poc.

I suspect that these airdams are being laid up by hand and that several different individuals are doing the work on these. Sorry to hear about your misadvnetures with your airdams. Mine seems to be replacing the bulbs in my PIAA Pro 90's after 12 months. Just the fogs for now, but it's $26.00 apiece... no matter! :)
