Have any of you installed an Explorer express X Spec Wing?

Looks nice in pictures, but a bit pricy.

i agree

i agree with coryl

if you want a wing go with lund windjammer
the last time i checked they were on sale...i believe is 45 moolah but dont quote me on that

They look tight

Yeah they don't do anything but I think they look tight... I'd get one if it weren't so expensive.

Explorer Express has problems trying to get them made, last time I checked. All I know that it's only on their "X-spec" explorer. I have the Saleen XP8 wing when Saleen started blowing out everything for the explorer. The wing usually sells well over $500!, not including shorter shocks for the back glass that cost over $100. Their prices were just as crazy as EE! But when that sell hit I got the wing for $100 and the shorter shocks around like $20. I got it because for the looks. The windjammer is more functional, because it deflects air downward over the rear window to keep it clean. It installs easily and can be paint match if you don't dig the smoke

Is Saleen still having that sale?

Nope, that sale was back in summer of last year. So thats history.

Does anyone know where they can find a windjammer besides EE? E mail me if you'd like: LimiteEx@aol.com
Thanks.

I got mine at EE, and yeah I like the looks, but it doesn't provide any functionality. It's supposed to deflect air down over the rear windshield to keep it free from dirt and grime, but it seems do the exact opposite and I end up with more crap on the rear window.

It keeps the edges of the rear window clean, but the middle builds up with crap fast. I paid $60 for my WJ.
