Sounds like the street dept around here replace the street and then tear up to fix something under it.

Welcome, I can talk some Romanian, but not type

My wife and her familiy are actually from Bucharest, and she still ahs a uncle and Grandparents there. In fact my in-laws were just there a month ago on vacation.

They always joke with me that they need my explorer there to get around because the roads are so bad, and the drivers are worse!

it` all about politics..the big guys..have their own companys that build the roads..so they build a road..a street afterwards..they dmmage it to change some wires pipes etc..and then they rebuild it with social money from the maior office ) and this goes on and one and one..an explorer it`s the perfect choice in romania the only bad thing it s the fuel consumption and the cost of fuel )) some pplz put GPL, lichefied petrol instalation on theire suv but i`m not fine with that

What are gas prices out there? here in the midwest its about $.90 per gallon. i dont know what that would be in romainian currency

thanks 4 the quick answer..so..i can use the 4wd but only if it is snow, gravel, mud or wet on the road

I wouldn't use 4wd on just wet roads, it's not slippery enough.
