Hi! I have a 07' Explorer. Last Fall, I noticed that my ac/heater would "click" when switching to heater and a/c (I live in a desert in CA. it gets hot in the day and cool at night in the Fall). The only way the "clicking" would go away is if we put the flow on high, then it would make a loud click and "switch" over.

Well, one day it got stuck! Thankfully it got stuck on COLD (the summers reach 125degrees) but we're moving to the east coast and it's still stuck on COLD and once we start to turn the dial to a warmer setting, the "clicking" starts and it DOESN'T blow hot air.

What do you think it could be? And what ever it is... will it be expensive??

the blend door servo is probably the culprit..the servo its that much but to get to it is kind of a nassle...i am sure you could get info from the forum to r and r the servo..that should fix it..and if the bleand door is broke or stripped you can get those also..dorman manfacturing makes some of this stuff for cheap.
