Where do i find the ball studs that anchor the upper portion of the shocks that support the rear hatch

I thought those were welded on, though I suppose if you had to, maybe there's access to the back so you could drill a hole and use something like the following:

... but measure yours, I don't know if they're 10mm or not.

Yikes! That sounds like something you'd get at a BDSM store.

Summit and NAPA have them but probably any bolt - fastener place would or big hardware store.

ball stud question

hi good folks;thanks for the suggestions.i ground the damaged ball stud flushi center punched it and drilled it .560.i tapped it 5/16 -18 and treadedin a napa ball stud in place.
