My 2000 Ford Explorer has ground problems making my steering wheel controls not work clock spring is still good an has power going to it all my fuses are good as well any suggestions ???

Hello I have a 2000 Ford explore V-8 limited edition. Recently changed the spark plug wires ignition coil and cleaned out one of the spark plugs due to a misfire in cylinder five. Car runs fine now however the engine runs really loud between 20 and 60 miles an hour. Is this something I should be concerned about and seek to fix Proactively?
