Explorer radio buttons are dim.

I have a 2006 explorer with 6 disc changer the display light works but the buttons for radio controls and station selections stay dark. Anybody know a cause or fix for this?

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the audio & navigation section. Are your dashboard light dim as well?

No all lights are fine. There is just no lights on radio buttons, the clock on radio works and displays fine.

Radio controls dark

I have the same problem. My cd changer went out so I replaced the entire unit with the same part number 6L2T-18C815-BG and now the controls are not lit anymore. It is very annoying. 2006 Explorer.
