Hi all,
Please excuse any fopahs I may commit as, believe it or not, this is the very first chat column I have ever been a member of, or taken part in.
I have a 2003 Explorer, XLT, 4.0 with the 5r55w transmission and that is the vehicle I will be discussing in this column.
Up until now, she has been a very reliable vehicle and I have been very happy (154,000 miles).
However, the transmission has started to act up, and in an attempt to keep my expenses down, I am hoping to draw on your knowledge base and find a fix that I can do here at home from my garage.
