This will be king of all race encounters unless someone has had a similar one, hehehe
Oooh baby did I have a run in tonight. About 20 min. ago I was comming back from a friends house when I saw a Ferrari comming out of a gas station. I'm at the next light stopped when I hear this wicked roar comming up, sure enough it was a red Ferrari F-50. This thing was the meanest sounding car I have ever heard. So you know what I do to get the guys attention, hehe, I drop down into neutral and let the Flowmasters roar (more like a kitten compared to his) He looked over and smiled and reved the **** outta his car, ohh myyy godd, you have no idea how this thing sounded. He was mad cool, he looked to be about 60 and of course he had the younger girl w/ him she was probably around 40. I've heard Ferrari's with a Tubi exhaust, but this one killed them all, forget loud, this was sick. I asked him if he had done anything to it, and he said he had some turbo work done and a custom exhaust (obviously). At idle at the light I could feel the purrs from his engine vibrating on my truck. I gave it one more rev and he did a few more before the light changed, I floored it and got got my ass wiped clean (not that I even stood a fraction of a chance), his car took off like a rocket w/ barely any wheel spin. This is how loud it was, he was all the way ahead of me and I could hear his wastegate and I could barely hear my exhaust on my truck, he got to the next light about 20 seconds
before I did. Pulled up next to him again and told him he had one hell of a sick car. He said thankyou, and told me I had a nice truck (now mind you this guy is driving a $500,000 car and I'm in my 94' Ex.) and he said he also had a new Mountaineer and loved it. When the light turned green again I floored it but he started of normal, that is until I reached about 35mph and heard his engine rev and fly, I mean seriously haul ass by me, he easily went by me at over 70 and the wind/suction or whatever when he went by me actually pulled my truck to the right (like if you when you are at a light and a car goes by you and you feel your car move a little). I could barely make out his lights ahead of me and I could still here his engine but I got stuck at the next light and he was well ahead. Incredible!!!!
This was like a once in a life-time chance, how many people get to pull up to a Ferrari and race them, let alone a very rare Ferrari like the F-50. That was the first one I have ever seen on the street. What I really liked was how cool this guy was, not ****y or anything, hell he even said I had a nice truck. But what really got me was this guy knew how to drive, I mean how many older guys or anybody do you see diving fast cars like vettes and what not that are usually having a mid-life crisis and know how to drive them. But heres this guy that was actually driving an exotic $500,000 car when probably every other F-50 is in a collection or collecting dust in a garage. And the fact that he actually had work done to the car was amazing, have you ever heard of someone buying any Ferrari or really any exotic and modifying them. Any of those cars see what, about 1,000 miles a year of driving
. I just had to get home and post this, I still cannot get over how this thing sounded, and am wondering if he was maybe running strait through cause I could feel the vibrations in my truck at idle so you can't even imagine what it was like to hear when he opened her up. I give that guy incredible props for knowing how to drive that car
