In case any of you were looking to buy an Explorer with a turbo, Dead Link Removed.

if that's really a turbo he should list the boost, the manufacturer of the turbo, along with changing the pistons, fuel lines, fuel pump, transmission. and other mods like intercooler, etc..
i dont think he knows what a turbocharger is, just by reading his description. he spent more time describing the bug deflectors.
and i would not drive that thing "super fast through potholes" in NYC as he suggests.

"for extra fast pickup"?? Does he mean, that a bug reflector actually helps your truck run faster because of decreased wind resistance?

And the turbo thing. Probably just added on there to get people to look at it. Based on the appearance of the truck alone, I could make some assumptions about the driver, but I won't. Everyone has their own tastes. But I would guess it's been run like hell, all 67000 miles of it, and I bet I'm right. I'd give maybe $1000 for it.

Riiiiight. He probably believes that his $50 Wal-Mart amplifier puts out 10,000watts, too. He didn't write anything about engine mods, which (if even possible) would have costs thousands...but he DID make sure to mention the chrome windsheild wiper mod, with a retail price of maybe $10. *grin*

- What type of turbo is it, who did the install, and how much boost is it running?
- Was there any other work done to the engine to suppliment the turbo (i.e. fuel pump, rods, etc.)?
- When you refer to "Extra Fast Pickup" on the custom bug reflector....umm....what are you talking about?

ksaldibar, the 550 fogs are awsome. they spread the light pretty far to both sides of the truck. i was driving around at night with both headlight burnt out for a week. i drove with just those on.. they are very good.
