Two nights ago I left my phone charger plugged in my explorer for over 12 hours. Car started next day but stalled after a few minutes. We thought battery was died so had jump started. Made a rrrr sound but wouldn’t start. Husband was told starter, he pulled starter out and then out back in to try song charge battery on charger. When put starter back in now we see not getting rrrr sound and will not start at all? confused

Welcome to the Forum.
If the battery was dead, it would not have started the first time. The same would apply to the starter. Once the engine is running, you should be able to take the battery out and the car keeps running on the power that the alternator supplies. Also, the Battery Saver feature should turn OFF anything left ON with the exception of the parking lights. Power Outlets - Are they Switched? If that is the case, the charger only worked for 10 minutes after the engine was turned OFF.
I'm not quite sure what this means, "he pulled starter out and then out back in to try song charge battery on charger." Does it mean he took the starter out and then put it back in and put the charger on the battery? Did he do anything with the starter when it was taken out?
I believe this is the sequence of events that occur when you go to start the engine. When the ignition key is turned to the start position, current flows and energizes the starter's solenoid coil. The energized coil then activates the starter motor.
