AUSTRALIAN WRECKERS

Does anyone know the where abouts of explorer wreckers in Australia? preferably victoria!!!!

Driving home today and we had a big BANG The back window has shattered ford want $1100 trade for a new one. Any aussie X owners have any suggestions where we can get one cheaper?

good luck with that one dude but if you replace it your self there is a lot of friggin around so that it dont leak

i got mine paid through insurence i told them some one hit the back of my car and dissappeared it cost $1200 insurence excess$400 one dent in the rear door and bumper alltogether $4000.00

i saw one on ebay for a 95-01 for like 52.00 link dont know if you'll get this in time, and if its for your model,but its worth a shot.

dude it would cost more to have it shipped then to buy it here the reason bits for these cars cost heaps here is that they are made in the USA so you have to import every thing which can be annoying

there isn't even a wrecked one on the north coast of nsw the best bet is to try in Sydney or give some Melbourne 4x4 wreckers a ring

Plastic is doing a good job at the moment, lol Think we may have to eventually bite the bullet and spend the $s

It all worked out great with the guides it took hours of research, letters phone calls ect and Ford Australia gave in to the 01M01. We actually started a thread for other aussies if they are having the problem we will forward all the info on to them so they too can fight ford australia. We actually found out a few interesting facts on how us Aussie X owners were decieved by ford australia.

Anyway hows your X going?

i have never seen a wrecked x here there is a dealer out west that deals in wreaked vehicles less than 3 years old but you have to buy the whole car he wont sell you a bit off one

that we know of anyway!!! but they dont get them in very often, although there are so many on the road it amazes me there are not more. Thats why we wanted to find out if there was any X wreckers in Aus and where abouts
