Hey All! I hope your holiday was great!

I just had the Gabrial VSTs put on over the weekend and while they are an incredible upgrade form stock, I still notice body roll during turns. Now I know, I don't drive a Porsche, but I also know that I can combat it some. Anyone have experience with the EE Sway Bar on a V8? All my search results turn up with the V6s, so I just wanted to check to see if any V8 owner has one.

Thanks!

Ry.

Im sure the benefits of the upgraded sway bar would be equally as good if not better. Change your Bushings to Poly bushings, that with the other upgrades (new shocks and bigger sway bar) Your X will be a new vehicle. Honestly I got more out of a bushing change then a shock change, not that im saying changing my shocks didn't do anything, I just felt more of a difference with the bushings.

The benefits of the Explorer Express rear sway bar should be the same as on a V6. There is no need to order poly bushings for this bar since they come with it.

To get better handling , there are a few more things that you can do: (1) lower it 2” and use the Explorer Express split colletts and ( 2 ) change to Edelbrock ISA shock.

You will think your Explorer rides on rails then.

Good luck…..

Thanks guys for all the help - if I could afford to lower it (installing oak floors now, but $ :(), it'd be done by now. But, I guess short term fixes'll do untill I can finish it up.

Thanks for the help guys!

it only cost me $20 plus an alignment to lower mine.

Please explain how you got the blocks and u bolts and camber adjusters for $20?

Thanks......

I got 1" blocks and Ubolts at autozone for $19.99. All the adjusters were put in with my alignment. The total cost of the alignment was $125. The front is lowered 2" and the back only 1" but it sits level... click the link in my sig to see new pics of it.
