Is my rear sway bar on correctly?

Greetings, While I was replacing my leaf spring bushings I noticed the rear sway bar on my 2004 $wd Sport Trac was mounted in a different orientation than my 2001 2WD Sport Trac.
Is this the correct way for the 4WD, or has it been removed and installed incorrectly?

The 2001 one is indeed Upsidedown
The 2004 4 wheel drive 1 is just like my 99
In the end it is just a spring so I don't think it really matters but it probably does lol

Ditto. Rear sway bar hoop should face down regardless of drive type.

Also applies to aftermarket rear sway bars such as Addco 633, Hellwig 7648, etc.

I doubt it too. The bar is still functioning the same when it's mounted upside down. I know I am late on this thread, but wanted to chime in and clear some misconceptions... Al, it was upside down as you probably know by now/ So was mine. I lost control of my Explorer once the sway bar...
