Extended Life coolant on 2002 explorers

Would anyone happen to know if it's alright to use the Extended 5yr/150,000 Mile Coolants on the 2002 explorers, such as the Prestone® Extended Life 5/150 Antifreeze/Coolant , or can I only use the conventional coolants on my truck

You can use extended life. But to get the benefits of extended life you need to flush out all of the green stuff.

RiverRat is right, I had bought the extended life and luckily I read before I leapt and once I realized the system had to be flushed to really utilize the ext-life I used normal Prestone..
