I've been seeing a few of these falling off in my job as a Ford technician. What happens is folks have their windshields replaced and the glass shops destroy the trim and it's mounting base during windshield replacement and glue the trim back on with urethane or silicone. My advice is to ask the glass shop if/when you have your windshield replaced if they are going to replace the moldings, the moldings and mounts cost $250 per side!! HTH Steve
