Exterior A pillar trim

I've been seeing a few of these falling off in my job as a Ford technician. What happens is folks have their windshields replaced and the glass shops destroy the trim and it's mounting base during windshield replacement and glue the trim back on with urethane or silicone. My advice is to ask the glass shop if/when you have your windshield replaced if they are going to replace the moldings, the moldings and mounts cost $250 per side!! HTH Steve

mine is popping up on my new/used 16 limited. Pried it back and it was def not replaced and just glued back down. Going to replace both sides at some point here soon.
