A Pillar Trim Adhesive

I'm replacing the a-pillar trim on my 2012 Explorer, and different sources have recommended adhesive at installation. The company I bought the trim from actually sent me a tube of adhesive. However, it doesn't seem like there are a lot of places where you could apply it. Does anyone have any experience with this installation? Thanks!

Are you referring to using the adhesive or the regular replacement?

Im trying to find out if anyone has used adhesive glue in the replacement. Some was included with the trim piece, and the manufacturer recommended using it, but I don't see where it's necessary.

I'm not aware of anyone using adhesive in the replacement of the 'A' pillar. However, there is a thread with pictures of a replacement process.
