Guys, please post up and list the fab tools you have or that are available to you (if you are willing to help other NWX folks work on thier rigs).

Are you willing or able to transport to a common location to work on multiple rigs at the same time or are you willing to host a fabrication get together?

I know there are a lot of welders out there but how about cutting and bending tools?

All I have is a grinder and a recip saw.

Kevin?

Plasma cuts up to 7/8 240 volts i have adapters and cords millermatic 251 also 240 volts ,
bassic tools sawzall, grinders, drils, doo hickeys i have access to a press at work i'm always up for some fabbing so if anyone needs some help hit me up

If anyone needs plastic or wood parts cut/engraved I have a CNC laser, weighs 200+ lbs so it stays here in my sign shop. I can cut up to 1/4" thick 12"x24".
Have done custom work for local shops like Car Toys, Superior Auto Trim, and
Car Nutz. Yes, I normally charge for this to make a living, but am willing to consider some local freebies if it doesn't get out of hand.

As for big fab tools, I have a 120v MIG welder, and I have a friend that has a Tube Bender that I can use (i.e. TAKE) when I need it, as long as it doesn't interfere with his DemoDerby projects. He is building a Rollover Car (Jeep) for his MOTHER for 2009. She placed 2nd or 3rd in Points in 2008 in Rollover Points with the Chevette he built for her.

Other than that, I have a couple angle grinders, bench grinder w/ leg kit (portable). I think one part that hasn't been mentioned yet is a Tubing notcher...like the Ole` Joint Jigger that would need to be used with a Drill Press...I have neither, but I might me able to get them.

Two grinders, oxy accetaline set up (needs gas :( ) Sawsall, 115V welder(works but is kind of touchy), 240V plasma cutter, Drill press, air body saw, drills, 12 ton hydraulic press, engine hoist, tranny floor jack, air compressor, die grinder, cut off wheel, assortment of hammers, and a few other doo dads.
