IS there a way to get this out without the keys? I have tried the coat hanger trick with no luck. Can you take the surrounding plastic piece off and than slide the radio out?

That is what I had to do. Just unscrew the the two screws and carefully pull at the corners and work it off. You will have to unplug all the switches and cigarette lighter but all that is easy. I think I used a pocket knife or screwdriver to pry the little springs out of place to slide the radio out.

why not just go to auto zone and buy the little keys theyre like 2.99 or something

coat hangers works fine if you do it right, so does four narrow screw drivers, just insert and pry all outward, and with them pried out, pull the radio from the dash.

went to walmart and bought the keys for like $3-$4 and it popped right out, I couldnt get coat hangers to work for anything. Got my deck in tho
