I want to replace my 8" sub with an aftermarket one I already have. Its an old school 8" JBL GTX. It measures right at 4.5" depth from the top of the ring to the bottom of the magnet. Ive tried searching but I cant find a clear answer as to how much room there is in the factory box. Im going to order an MDF spacer to make it work and need to know how thick it should be.
