Factory remote entry??

Hi,

I have a 98 Sport 2 dr, w/ the 4L 6cyl OHV.

Does anyone know if these come from the factory w/ remote unlock and lock? When I bought the truck I didn't get a remote w/ the key, and think it would be something cool to have.

If no one knows, any ideas on how to find out?

I would think if it has factory power locks in should have the keyless entry option...

To check, you cycle the ignition (8 times I think) and if the door locks automatically lock or unlock, than you have it. That is actually how you program the remote too. But you have to cycle it (turn it from OFF to ACC mode) 8 times in under 10 seconds or something. Good luck!
