I have the factory running boards on my 96 XLT...they are causing the paint to chip and get all sh*tty where they meet the body. Anybody have this problem? It did the same thing with my mud flaps in the front too...I like the looks and all but I'll learn not to get this style of running board in the future. Any suggestions how to stop this from happening?
I was looking at the tubular running boards on some web sites...why would the ones I saw be for all explorers except for the V8? I didn't know the V8 was any different from the rest as far as the body goes. Thanks!
