How do I remove the factory subwoofer? Mine cuts in and out randomly and it's quite frankly really annoying, I can't see how to get to it (and the amp) in order to see what is wrong with the thing. Kind of hoping it is the subwoofer as that will likely be the cheaper replacement.

Any links to a DIY on removing it? Thanks.

I wanted to just turn mine off (without actually removing it). From the right rear passenger door, I partially popped off the rear-side cargo panel from that door opening, reached in, and unplugged one of the speaker wires from it's terminal.

So, I guess all you need to do is completely remove that right rear cargo panel. There may be some seatbelt anchors and other items to also remove, put primarily, you just pry it loose.
