Only when its really cold outside (like today), the airbag light dimly glows when the fan is on. The faster the fan speed, the more the light glows. Only when the fan is off or at full speed, does the light not glow. It was 10 degrees outside this morning (and the truck sits outside)

The airbag light is not flashing and will only go on when its very cold and the fan is on........

It goes off once the car warms up (4-6 miles). Heck, the overdrive works faster than this!!

Done some research on this, not uncommon. Some people have had grounding issues, others alternators, batteries, etc. Lots of posts just "end" with no resolution.

Any comments ?

I have a new battery (did this before the battery was replaced)

Any thoughts? Its cold oustside again (8 outside), and the faster the fan, the more the light glows. When the fan is on "high" or off, the light goes completely.

No problems starting it at all.

Probably a bad ground somewhere in the dash. My O/D Off light does not work if the headlights are on.

A guy at work has an 02, and his check engine light sometimes comes on when the headlights are turned on. They threatened to fail him on his last inspection, and he had to argue with them that since there were no codes, the light was bogus. He ended up paying a mechanic several hours labor to try finding the problem, but they couldn't fix it.

If I turn up the fan manually on the EATC, it doesn't turn on right away. The airbag light glows during this time. When the fan kicks on, the light goes away...........could it be the motor resistor?
