fanthom hum/vibration/ timing chain tensioner

Here's a good one.... got a nice anoying vibration/hum at all speeds that souds like a tire whyne, however it did the same sound with the old tires stock sized goodyears, in hopes that a tire change would fix the problem replaced the worn out tires with the new brigestones' dueller/at at 31.10 1/2 but the problem persised. however the problem dissapears on mild/hard right turns, leading me to belive it is berrings on the passenger side well initially thougt it was the front so took it appart and it was good so installed the 450$ hub assembly in (ouch!!!) to see and the problem did not dissapear. So reinstalled the old one and got my trade (helps to be known by napa lol) and proceded to change the outer rear dif bearrings and seals only to have the same problem again..... I'm a licensed mechanic so you can imagine how anoyed I am at this one!!!.

also everything was nice in the rear dif nice wear marks and all and I also have new upper and lower ball joints (last fall) on that side and all the brakes are in A1 condition, the tires are well balanced, and there's no play anywhere in the driveline.

Any imput would be greatly apreciated.

On another note I've got the same timing chain tensioner rattle as everybody else and would love to fix it lol does anybody know whats entitled to complete the job since I highly doubt it that I could get in warantied at 160K Km lol and what parts need to be purchased? :can:

U joints

Dont tell anyone but I am the owner of a Chevy Silver (please dont beat me)
As well as my EXPLORER :D . My Chevy had a noise like that and it ended up being the U Joints on the Drive Shaft. Anyway just a thought sense the sound of the u joints can sound like its coming from anywhere, it would be worth a look.

thanks after reading all the forums its leading me to belive that that's the problem. Its the damn dissapearing on right turns that confuses me lol

I would look at my wheel Bearings, that has been known to cause nioses from the front end.

sorry rage but read my initial post the bearrings where changed and the noise persisted that's why I'm so puzzled
