Hey guys, I have a friend who is making oil filter relocation kits that fit a multitude of vehicles, and I have since found out that it will work on my early gen 4.0L. I'm sure that it will also fit others as well. I will check on this as soon as I can.
The two adapter pieces are made out of 100% CNC Milled 6061 T6 aluminum, with the threads for the oil filter a mild steel. The hoses will be be the reinforced rubber rated for 250psi and 240*F. The fittings are barbed brass, and the clamps will be included as well. The adapter for the block side will use an old oil filter seal as it's seal (they work awesome for this!).
Where you want to put the oil filter is up to you, I'm sure there is more that enough hose to do whatever.
This is just a feeler, I'm not selling these yet. I'd like to know how many people would be seriously interested in these kits.
