OK, I've got a 96 explorer Australian spec. All the explorers out here have the flares no matter what. I'm putting on the 3" Body Lift, TT and Shackles to hopefully fit 33's. Now would I have any problems with rubbing on the flares with this setup?? If so, I don't mind taking the flares off. I understand that this will leave holes behind in the body and I don't wish to just leave unsightly holes untouched. I would rather the job be done professionally by a body shop so would you guys have any idea on the cost of fixing these holes on all four wheel arches?? Are we talking big money??

Also is there any difference between the US and Australian spec explorers as far as suspension goes?? Also does anyone know which torsion bar we got here??

Gees that was long. Thanks for any help guys.

Hey Alex... you probably won't have to remove the flares when you get your body lift. If anything, you'll probably only need to trim the inside of them (near the bottom, ya know?).

I'd imagine that filling all the holes left from the flares would be very costly. Thats a lot of griding, welding, sanding, and painting.

As far as your t bars, here in the states we have an ID tag on the drivers door jam with tons of info about what are trucks have. Do you guys have anything like that there? There are a lot of different bars available on the Explorers.

if you go to k-mac at 366 princess hyway 02 95561799 rockdale they will make up the torsion bars while you wait -about 2 hours if you book it in
