Few questions about 98 Explorer

I have a 98 Explorer have a few questions first off.. just recently my window will go down but then it starts to get off track.. i took door panel off and the blue is still on the window and frame hing that goes up so i don't understand why its messing up.. and 2nd i have a sunroof in my explorer and it leaks pretty bad when its raining.. would it be cheaper to replace the whole sunroof or sense i careless about the sunroof to take it to a professional and get them to take out the sunroof and just weld medal to replace it?

For the window, need to check the channels, it sounds like one is worn, creased, or loose from the bracket.

For the moonroof, make sure the drains are clear. There will be 4 of them. You can also drop the headliner and see if one of the drains is unhooked. The drains move the water that comes through, as they really don't seal that tight (even when new), that's why they have 4 drains, one on each corner- to handle a decent amount of water.
