figured it out (air in fuel line)

so after about 3 weeks of no 4 weeling and replacing everything except my motor i found that the brand new fuel pump(airtex garbage, use carter instead) had a bad check valve and after turning off would drain fuel back to tank creating a vaccume pulling air into the fuel system thanks for the help everyone Justin

Cheap parts strike again. I've found that if you made a good diagnosis, and the repair doesn't work, scrutinize the replacement part before doing anything else. So much garbage in the aftermarket parts industry, its really sad...

Boy you said a mouth full with that one Ted. I just had to replace another heater core so far both replacements have leaked at the pipes from bad solider joints that leave or develop pin holes down the line. so this time I bite the bullet and forgot about the life time replacement and got a better one that in the end was cheaper up front then the other ones but is 100% better made even taking a magnifying glass to it the quality shows so crossing fingers and toes no more replacing them every 6 months!

The battle for supplying the cheapest parts possible is unbelievable. Manufacturers will sacrifice quality, performance, safety, or anything else you can imagine to get the price down. Then they put a "lifetime warranty" on the part... which is great if you want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere trying to change your alternator for the 5th time...

Any replacement part should last at least as long as the original did...
