Well to start off my names Tanner, I've been looking around this forum for awhile now, looking at some pretty cool buildups. And recently I gathered up enough money from my part time job to buy my own explorer. It's a black 1998 2 door 4.0. I got it for $800, the only problem with it is a large dent in the rear drivers side fender, which isn't an issue for me since it will be getting fiberglass fenders. My plans are to get a suspension kit for the front, hopefully around 15" of travel, withe the Fiberwerx one piece front end conversion. and in the rear get some Deaver springs and some decent shocks, until i can get enough money together to buy coil overs and 4 link it. I plan on running the stock drivetrain in it until i get all my suspension, cage, etc done, then dropping in either a 4.6, 5.0, or 351w.
Thanks for listening, Tanner
