Now how do I get my big hands in that little space to replace it? Any ideas on what I need to move out of the way and how?

if its similiar to mine...... i removed the hose in front of it. also maybe you could get to it with a pair of pliers just to lift it out then you should be able to manouver it around.

So its that simple, just pull it out with a pair of pliers? I thought there was something that could break off if your not careful?

I have an SOHC, so that big black intake tube thing is whats really in the way. Anyway of getting that loose and out of the way?

yeah i think yours is in a different location than mine. so im not sure. the pliers should give you a little more reach and grab a hold of the hose on top the valve and you shouldnt hurt anything.

Where is the PVC Valve?

Okay, so i don't feel so bad now . . but I have been looking for my PVC valve for what seems to be hours now. I've got a 94 Sport, 4.0L V6 . . . . . where is that thing??

follow the intake back on the right hand side and its right below the intake at the very back. i tryed to take a pic for ya but it turned out sucky since the truck in the garage but if you need it ill post it and hope it helps. or i can take a good one tomorrow in the day time.

It's dark here now, and no garage, so i'm done for the night. I'm not following you w/o being able to get out there, so if you can post the pic, that'd be great. Of course, a clearer one tomorrow would be good to.

Thanks

ok the very back of the intake on the right hand side of engine. at the end of red line is where its at even though you cant see it clearly i will get a better pic for you tomorrow.

I make FORD replace all of mine. Most of the Ford engines nowadays get a free PCV valve replacement at 60,000 miles to meet the Federal emmisions requirments. Read your manual, it'll tell you which engines get the frre one.

My PVC valve comes outta my lower dash, supplying me with fresh chilled water for wheelin trips. As for my PCV valve, thats on the drivers side of the intake

:D Nice :D

That's why a BB search for "PVC" comes up lacking, but PCV is better, which appears to be a pretty hot topic. No wonder it's so damn hard to find, we're confusing it for white plastic.

Hopefully, I'll find it tonight, although if I can't find the PCV valve, I'll find the PVC valve . . . under my sink though, I don't have one in my dash ;)

Thanks again, I'll let you know if I still have problems.

just incase you didnt find it yet heres a little better pic.
