Ok I'm finally gonna get to modding my 96 XLT V8 AWD I've got a lot I'm going to eventually do, but today it's the TT, Shackles, and a custom snorkal that can't be seen

As you can see it's off road already just starting the real mods!

Day one

Ok I got the shackles and TT done today, but ran into some serious road blocks for the hidden snorkal :fire: anyway I'll probably have to do a real snorkal or build some sort of box. For those of you that are wondering why I need to do anything of the sort I'm currently stationed in Florida, and we have a lot of water holes (floor pan depth) where I 4X it's not the depth that's the prob. it's the fact that with the 5.0 in such a small engine bay the fan acts like a pump and fills the compartment with water including the air filter (hence the problem).
I'll take some pic tomorrow of the newly lifted 96.

Ok so here's the photoes after the TT shackles:

The measurements ended up being 9" stock rear 10" stock front after tt and shackles 11" rear and 12" front
all of the measurements were from fender well to rim.

I should also say that by unmodded i meant lifts the interior is already tweaked a little:

I know it's not pretty, but it serves it's purpose, and BTW the monitors are for my kids when we 4X it keeps them very occupied :D

looks nice!

next i'd say wash it..haha and do a body lift.
And some serious interior detailing action

That's what happens when the wife drives it for two years with two kids in it :D but it's mine again so i'll be doing the cleaning....eventually

Ok put in the new radiator this weekend $180 (there goes the body lift fund :( ) any way now it's the only clean thing under my hood :D looks kiinda funny. Just waiting on taxes, and i'll be back with some body lift pics till then.

I've done everything to my truck myself, some of it's in a temporary configuration, like the RCA jacks eventually there'll me a full metal cover, so it'll look a little cleaner.
