something like that means nothing to me

I need to know the position of the ignition coil and the cylinders together.

Like this
The front left wire coming from the ignition goes to the left front cylinder
the middle left wire coming from the ignition goes to the left middle cylinder.

I have no idea how to count the cylinders and which is which and what direction to count from there? Are there any guides with pics? I couldnt find any using the search feature.

Thanks.

firing order

As your looking at your engine from the front-the first wire on the left side of your coil block goes to #1 plug(front plug on your left as your looking at it).
Second wire on left side of coil block goes to #2 plug(second plug on your left as your looking at it). Third wire on the on the left side of the coil block goes to #3 plug (back plug on your left). Yes, 1-2-3 on the left. Now right side is different. First wire on right of coil block goes to #5 plug (second plug on right). Second wire on coil block goes to #6 plug(back plug as your looking at it. Back wire on right side of coil block goes to#4 plug(front plug on your right. Once again all instructions are as you are looking at the motor from the front.

Thanks for spelling it out for me guys =)

Saved me

Had plugs and wires changed by a shop.
Truck ran worse.
After reading this thread i checked the firing order, it was wrong.
Fixed it based on this thread.
Runs better than ever.
Seriously thanks.
I have my truck back, and some words for the
mechanic who said engine was bad and
took my money.
