I took my '92 Explorer in for an oil change at the dealer, my routine every 3,000 miles, and asked a salesman while I was waiting if he had any used Explorers that would be a little newer with a CD player.
My car was fine and fun (5 on the floor) but I wanted to be aware of what was available for the eventual day when I would need to replace the old buggy. After looking at the used models, I was not impressed to trade up. None of it looked much different than what I already had and I do not like to spend money without good reason. I told him I did not care to trade up and anyway I would want a black one anyway. Then he said, I do have a black new one. I told him I did not have any money but I would look at it. Wow, need I say more?
The next thing you know I was in the sales room and they turned me upside down and got all the money out of me they could. I loved the car, and I still do. It was brand new off the showroom floor and I'm still as excited about it as the day I bought it.
And it has a CD player.

PS: I have two English Springer Spaniels, both females, and we go everywhere with two crates in the back. We camped at Fisherman's Bend off of the Santiam River a few weeks ago and slept in the rig. It worked exceptionally well. I like all the logistics of light switch button placement, door lock/unlock button placement. The entire rig works beautifully for camping and traveling. Very convenient.
Love it.
