First Post, Here's my problem

I've been on and off this site for some time now, and the information is very useful. Here's the deal, I have a 2000 ford ranger with the 3.0 4x4 regular cab. my brother put her in a telephone pole a few days after we blew the tranny and my insurance dropped us on the same day. so because i cant and dont want to file a claim, i wanted to fix her myself. Ive done trannies and i know these things are a pain in the ass, but i never had done airbags. I could pick up a parts truck with a good tranny and good interior. does anyone know if i could swap the airbag system along with the airbags? thanks

I believe the airbags are just plug and play?
