Well the forecast called for up to 6 inches of snow that was suppose to start last night and continue into today. I was excited bc i had the day off and could finally drive my 93 around in the snow after the lift and some other work I have been doing to it. Woke up to rain, it snowed lightly periodically, there might be an inch on the ground. soo disappointed though I was i decided that i wouldnt let the day go to waste.

I couldnt remember the last time I used 4Lo in my truck, basically bc ive never needed it. with a little snow sticking to wet soggy ground i climbed in and began to engage the 4wd. Hi worked, as usual, Lo engaged with not as much force/noise as i thought it would, drove fine, disengaged a little more noticeably. went to a friends house to pick him up as its customary for us to drive through peoples yards when it snows, we call it taking shortcuts. left the hubs locked and decided to see how 'on the fly' my 15 yr old 4wd system still was. everything worked fine, no slipping, no spinning, no roostertails. the tires i got off a friend seemed to hold traction good.. well theyre BFGs so theyre automatically awesome.

hopefully WV gets more snow this winter than in winters past bc i love driving around in the snow on my days off. hope everyone else who got snow today went home safely. maybe i dont need to buy a Heep after all, the explorer is plenty capable.
