fix drivers side fender

Well, its been a helluva week. Finals, shop having problems with wiring my ranger; and tonight, I slide on some ice and hit a wooden fence post. Hit on my drivers side fender right next to the headlights. hood is fine, bumper is fine, fender has some holes ripped in it and dented in. Must have messed something up in the alignment, the steering wheel is off center now (but it doesnt pull when driving).

So, how tough is it to replace a fender? Is it something that should be left to a shop, or could I pull one at a junkyard (btw, its a 93 explorer)?
