Ok, my rear passenger power door lock hasn't been working for a while, so I figured I'd take out the mechanism and see if I could fix it/replace it/see what the heck was wrong. The one thing I can't figure out is how to disconnect that actuator arm. Anyone know how to do this? You'd think this would be easier than it is!
TIA..

as far as I know, they either clip in, screw in, or have like.. a pin setup to them, but I'm not very sure. I've been through about 4 rear door lock actuators.. they keep going bad.. I just have the delership repalce em, factory defect ya think?

You need to pop the center of the rivit out and then drill out the rest of the rivit and then loosen the door latch and turn it and then work out the Actuator and you may need to bend the long rod going to the inside handle.

dang

I was afraid of that. I got the rivet out, and loosened the latch.. It was just the actuator arm that I couldn't get free. Ah well. I suppose I'll go back to it tomorrow.
