Well i got rear ended awhile ago, i was in a store and my car was parked and when i came back to it someone had hit my car from behind and the rear bumper was bent down kinda on the passenger side. I got an estimiate for like $400 and i just started college plus i dont wanna fork out that much just to fix alittle bent bumper, so i was wondering could i take the bumper off and just sort of take a sledge hammer and try to kind of knock it back into place. I know this wouldnt make it look like it never got hit, but it would make it look alittle better.

I am willing to bet your frame is NOT bent.
go to the junk yard and get a rear bumper and make sure it comes with decent brackets.
you should be golden.

Nah i looked at the frame and it was bent, dosent look bent that bad though, thats why i figured the sledge hammer trick.
