So I am fixing up another 02 Ford Explorer. This one has what I consider the right engine, the 4.6. With it I now believe I will have a SUV I can really invest my time and money into.
Need a few things. Rear shocks.
Please tell me what makers of shocks are still good; I cannot trust old brands of my youth anymore.
This next request is a long shot BUT you never know: I am asking if someone bought a lowered Explorer and then removed the springs for higher ones. I would like to buy them.
I am including photos of how much I want to drop my truck. Also if no used ones show up, I ask for suggestions of where I can buy good lower springs.

PS from looking around here I learned that the only springs are Belltech 2.5 So anyone got a used set for sale??
