Flat tire

Wife had a flat tire yesterday. When I got home and looked for the nail my wife asked whats that from. Well somehow the caliper was rubbing on the inside of the rim? The lugs were tight when I took the tire off to replace it with the spare. Going to look at it some more today any thoughts on what to check? Thanks.

Well I believe I answered my question. The lower bolt on the bracket that the caliper mounts to fell out. So the caliper was pivoting on the bracket allowing it to rub on the inside of the rim. Just thought I'd follow up on that.
