Floor Vent?

Can someone tell me what's on the floor in the middle of the cab? It is a rectangle strip in between the front seats and then it stops in the middle of the cab floor in what seems to look like vents but I didn't feel any air when I turned on the air. thanks in advance.

not sure from your description but it is probably the bottom part of what once was your center console, those arent vents, they do look sort of like them tho, try hosting a picture of it on photobucket or imageshack and posting a direct link in img brackets. that will make it easier to understand what it is you are talking about. it sounds like the bottom of a center console though.

yes its where the center console used to be. Looking at it I don't see what purpose it served though. Keeping is secured to the floor?

i think so yea, i havent had my console out so i asume it was just to hold it on, they probably just wanted something to break it up and make it look less simple maybe lol
