Floor Vent

[Tractor Puller]

On my 2002 XLT 4x4, I place the vent selector to just panel. However, the cold air still blows out of the floor vent to some degree. Local Ford Tech says this is normal to allow air flow to the rear vents.

Anyone have any info on the validity of this statement?

yes i noticed this also this summer on my 2001.. if i have the vents on i can feel the ac on my feet...
